Eastern Christian School welcomes Dan Meys

Eastern Christian School welcomes Daniel Meys as admissions counselor. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern University in Business Management and is currently an elder-in-training at his church. 

Please tell us about yourself.

I am happily married to my wife, Courtney, and have three children: Aden, Beckham and Easton. Aden and Beckham are both enrolled here at Eastern Christian. I was born in Long Island, NY, raised in Teaneck, NJ, and started our family in Florida. I enjoy watching and playing sports and am a HUGE Knicks and Yankee fan. I have a real interest in studying God’s word and teaching it as well!

Tell the story of how you got to EC?

When we first moved back to NJ we knew that Christian education was going to be essential for our children. When we found EC and started the process, we truly fell in love with it. From the intentionality of the interview to the importance of being a covenantal school, we knew this was where we wanted to be!

What sets EC apart?

The EC standard for education and a Christ centered life is evident in the mission and philosophy of the school! I am extremely passionate about serving our community and families of EC, not just as an admissions counselor but as a gate keeper for our students and families.
